HBO Max Case Study
Text in brackets describes what's on screen when it isn't covered by the narration.
When HBO was making the transition from legacy products to the brand new HBO Max streaming service, their partner marketing team needed an agency that could deliver strategic creative direction that was not just on message and on brand but also engaged, educated and converted their customers. That's where we came in.
What began as a one-off large-scale digital advertising campaign for a single partner quickly grew into a partnership supporting their collaboration with more than a dozen providers and platforms to bundle, promote and distribute the streaming service across various channels, increasing subscriber growth, viewer engagement and app activations.
We've become an extension of their team, experts in their programming, their audience and their voice all through two major brand transitions. We handle it all from last minute day-to-day requests to proactive strategic planning for major tent pole premieres and everything in between.
Over the last six years, we've engaged consumers in every way possible. We crafted hundreds of emails, screen savers and banner ads, created an array of social video pieces, built and managed a point-of-sale website that's updated monthly, keeping their partner call center reps up to date on programming priorities.
Concepted and built in-store experiential activations, including an AR scavenger hunt and even constructed a virtual throne room to promote the launch of House of the Dragon.

No matter the request, big or small, tactical or supernatural, every piece of creative serves one goal, giving HBO Max partners exactly what they need to drive activations and upgrades across their platforms.

It's why one partner became a dozen, why one campaign became six years of collaboration, and why, through every brand transition, HBO Max trusts us when it matters most.
